MY STORY

I was born and raised in Montevideo, Uruguay, and I came to the United States to earn a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering. When I first arrived, I was unsure about my major and my future; therefore, my focus was to strive for academic excellence and explore everything the STEM field had to offer. During this process, I “rediscovered” programming. Back home, I never really thought about programming as something I would enjoy doing in the future. However, I was proven utterly wrong. I grew to enjoy the process of building and developing an application and quickly decided to switch majors.

Currently, I'm working towards a computer science and mathematics degree, and my dream is to become a software developer when I graduate. In my free time, I enjoy weight training, Olympic weightlifting, and running.
